Roving Reporter- Friday, August 17th

Hi everyone its Devon!
Friday was a wonderful day. In the morning we wrote an essay. We had to write 5 paragraphs. Paragraph 1 was the intro. Paragraph 2 was what we liked best about 4th grade. Paragraph 3 was about our summer. Paragraph 4 was what we were looking forward to doing in 5th grade. Paragraph 5 was the closing. When everyone was done it was time for snack.  When we got back we did math. We did decimals. It was kind of hard for some of us at first, but then we got the hang of it. By the time it was lunch we weren’t done. We left our stuff where it was and went to lunch. When we came back we read 1 more chapter of Among the Hidden. When that was done we finished math. We glued in a few things and then we were we done. Mrs. Gallo came and taught us an art lesson. It was abstract art; it was based on Picasso’s art. Most of us got to start the pastel part of the art project. A few minutes before the bell rang Mrs. Slezinger told us about her VIP pictures. After that we packed up and went home. Friday was a fun day.
