Reminders:

• Investors Evening- Thursday, 10/18 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM

• Ballroom Dance- Paperwork MUST be sent be Friday!
• Volunteers- We need volunteers for Psychomotor (Fridays 8:10-9:10)
• Magnet Tours- If you are planning on taking your child on a middle school magnet tour, please fill out necessary paperwork PRIOR to the tour.

What We are Learning:

• ELA- Continue, and finish Sign of the Beaver. Students will read, discuss, and answer critical thinking questions and view events from multiple perspectives.
• Theme in literature
• Word Knowledge- STEM List #7
• Writing- Persuasive Letters
• Math- Module 2, Multi-Digit Whole Number and Decimal Fraction Operations
• Review for Mid Module Test on Tuesday AND Lessons 16-18
• Lend a Helping Hand, Kiva Project
• Science- Water Cycle; Can we make it rain?
• Social Studies- The Fight for a Continent
