Roving Reporter- Monday, August 20th

Matteo                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        At 8:02 we reached our classroom, we got while our teacher put on Bruno Mars [one of my classmates request]. After we were set there was a paper one my desk to fill out. The paper was about how the first week of school went ‘’I thought the week went great”! Then our teacher shared a little about the time of the civil rights, she said that people did not just protest about unfair rights. I thought a little about it while I went off to recess. I was just having fun and interviewing some kids on how there day was going. Three of them said “yes” two of them said “no”. After recess I went back to class, when I came back I was named president for the day! After dismissing the classroom Mrs. Slezinger’s son came and joined the classroom for math. We were talking about place value similarities ,then played a game on it. The game was that we would pick a random number and create a number with a bigger place value. My partner was Jennifer, we won the same amount of games. Then it was lunch time. I ran out to the pavilion to eat then I went of to play. I played many different games. My favorite was prisoner, it is a game that when you throw the ball and say somebody name , when it hits the ground there out. After lunch our teacher was reading a book called Among the Hidden. It is about a kid that is the third child in his family ,and third children are not allowed. After reading the book the class rotated to a other class! The teachers name was Mrs.Gallo. She was going to teach our whole class social studies and health for the rest of the year. We were talking about explorers for one day only. She said that were all explorers. In science we covered our books and flipped through the entire book. She created a big idea chart that the whole class filled it out. That was the end to our amazing day.
